Therapy for individuals (adults)

Offered online through telehealth video.

Individual sessions are a place to process and explore your thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and life experiences in order to move towards a place of depth and healing.

We will use a combination of Parts-work (IFS or inner child work), somatics, and attachment and systemic therapy (exploration of intergenerational family patterns).

In most cases, sessions are weekly.

Shamanic therapy for individuals

Offered through ‘eco-therapy,’ based in a public park location.

Shamanic therapy can be offered in combination with individual therapy sessions as described above, or can be stand-alone.

In these sessions, I will guide you through a shamanic exploration and journeying process, often with the use of drums and/or rattles. Afterwards, we will process the emotions and experiences that arose as a result of this journey.

All sessions are private-pay, as I am not currently affiliated with any health insurance plans. Private pay therapy gives us the ability to fully cater your treatment plan to your needs, so that you have more choice and control over your own treatment.

Reimbursement options
(CA & NY only)

If you live in California or New York, you may be able to submit your receipts for reimbursement as an out-of-network “claim” through your insurance provider, though this depends on your particular insurance plan. Alternatively, you can often utilize your FSA or HSA as reimbursement options. Some employers will even have “Wellness Stipends” that you may be able to use towards sessions.

In those cases, I can provide a monthly superbill, upon your request, as a receipt.

Cancellation Policy

I require 24 hours advance notice if a client needs to cancel a session. For example, an appointment for Tuesday at 12:00 should be canceled no later than Monday at 12:00. Cancellations made within 24 hours before a session was scheduled to begin may incur a fee.

Good Faith Estimates (California)

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit https://www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1-800-985-3059.
